SNOW EMERGENCY

The Mayor Has Declared a Snow Emergency for January 28-30, 2022

Please be advised that the Mayor has declared a snow emergency for Langhorne Borough beginning at 5:00pm on Friday, January 28  through 6:00am on Sunday, January 30, 2022.

We are expecting significant snow fall. Please follow the snow emergency regulations and move cars off the street so the plows can clear the streets as needed.

During a snow emergency all vehicles, trailers, etc. are to be off all streets in the Borough until 24 hours after the snow has stopped or the Mayor removes the snow emergency. If the snow is an overnight event it is best to move your vehicles before the snow begins. If cars are not moved you may be fined and the police may tow vehicles for the safety of our community.

Please be aware that property owners are required to remove snow and ice from sidewalks within 24 hours after the snow has stopped falling. Do not plow, push, blow or shovel snow into the street.

We know this may lead to inconveniences but for the safety of our residents, businesses and visitors it is important to follow the snow emergency regulations. For more info on these ordinances please see our website or call the Borough office. https://langhorneborough.com/documents-forms/

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

 Langhorne Borough
