RECOGNIZING OUR OFFICERS & FIRST RESPONDERS

At the March 11, 2026 Council Meeting, Langhorne Borough Council recognized the following officers & first responders for their outstanding public service:

Mayor Truchil honored Officers Hillary Kloiber and Mike Mannino with proclamations recognizing their quick and decisive action last November that saved the life of an individual in cardiac arrest.

The Langhorne Borough Police Department, Police Chief Kevin Burns, and Fire Chief Frank Farry were presented with Certificates of Appreciation for their service during the two Snow Emergency Declarations on January 24-25 and February 22-23, and for their rapid response to the Pine Street water main break on February 28. Certificates were also presented to the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company for serving the community during the Snow Emergencies, and the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Police for responding to the water main break. Flags flown over the United States Capitol were given to those who responded to the emergencies courtesy of Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick’s office.

Between the two Snow Emergencies, the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Department put in over 500 service hours, including accompanying all Emergency Services calls in order to clear snow for EMS to reach those in need of medical assistance. Many service members worked 24-30 hours shifts.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such committed and capable officers, volunteers, and first responders serving our community. Please join us in recognizing these incredible public servants!
