Kindness kindles kinship and kinship kindles a sense of community.

Abhijit Naskar

The Borough’s “Good News – Shout Outs!” initiative fosters a culture of positivity and community engagement by inviting residents to share uplifting stories and commendable acts within our neighborhood. Whether it’s celebrating local achievements, highlighting acts of kindness, or acknowledging instances of remarkable community outreach, we aim to amplify the good news that often goes unnoticed.

While we strive to showcase as many submissions as possible, it’s important to note that we cannot guarantee publication of every entry. Together, let’s spread positivity and celebrate the goodness within our community!

Send Submissions to manager@langhorneborough.com.

Welcoming Police Chief Kevin Burns

On October 8th, 2025, Police Chief Kevin Burns was sworn in by the Mayor and welcomed by Council, Chiefs from other local departments, and members of the public. Chief Burns, who has over thirty-seven years of law enforcement experience which includes serving the Borough as a part-time officer since 2021, is dedicated to the high standard of integrity and community-oriented policing that has been a staple of the Langhorne Borough Police Department. It was our honor to congratulate him in his new role, and we look forward to working with him for the betterment of the Borough!

Thank you to Keith DeVore!

Borough Council would like to extend their thanks to Keith DeVore, who crafted a beautiful podium for Council Chambers. Mr. DeVore and his wife Maria unveiled the podium, made from a black walnut tree from their own backyard, at the October 9th, 2024 Council Meeting.

The skill, time, and care that Mr. DeVore has poured into this podium cannot be overstated. It is not only a remarkable piece of art by a talented craftsman, but a testament to the strength of our community and the shared commitment of our residents and elected officials to making Langhorne Borough a wonderful place to live.

CONGRATULATIONS to Shaun Pall!
