The Red, White and Blue Dinner, held on Sunday, June 14th from 5:30pm to 8pm, is a featured event of our 150/250 year celebration here in Langhorne Borough. The dinner is a one-of-a-kind alfresco picnic where hundreds of guests dress exclusively in red, white and blue dine at a long, communal table along West Maple Avenue, spanning from South Bellevue to Hill. Guests bring their own food, beverages, and table decorations to beautify their dining space and enjoy a meal with family, friends, and neighbors with live music and prizes for dress and decor. Reservations are required and spots are limited, so make sure to reserve yours soon!

Special thanks to realtor and LBBA member Gwen Roedel and Bilal Barqawi, owner of the local Lukoil, for sponsoring! Because of their incredibly generous donations, the dinner is completely free (though reservations are still required for seating).

The dinner will be held rain or shine. We will only cancel if conditions are dangerous.

Guests are asked to dress only in red, white and blue clothing. Elegance is great if you feel inspired, but creativity is even more fun. Best dressed couple or family wins a prize!

Guests should plan to arrive no earlier than 5:30 PM, when set-up begins. When you arrive, you’ll see a long table stretching down Maple Avenue. Just take the next available seats at the table — part of the fun is getting to sit next to a neighbor you don’t even know yet!

If you are attending with a group and you arrive before them, you’re welcome to reserve enough chairs for them to sit next to you. We just ask that you reserve the exact number of seats to avoid creating gaps in the table.

You’re welcome to decorate your place at the table with red, white and blue (June 14th is also Flag day!). Decorations may be elegant, whimsical, movie themed, song-inspired — it is up to you!

We provide tables, chairs, white linens and lanterns for each table (6 seats per table).

You can bring your own picnic dinner or pre-order a meal. No matter what you choose, you’ll also need to bring dishes, flatware and glasses, beverages (alcohol is allowed) and desserts.

Pre-made meals can be ordered at:

  • Peking Tokyo – 215-750-6666
    • Sushi Roll Platter – includes California Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll and Volcano Roll (Shrimp tempura, cream cheese inside topped with Spicy Crab Meat) – $20.00
