Arbor Day Celebration 2026

On Saturday, April 25th at 3pm, the Shade Tree Commission is hosting an Arbor Day celebration and commemoration the brave Revolutionary War soldiers who fought for American independence. A tree will be planted at the Revolutionary War Cemetery in honor of the soldiers buried there, and the Shade Tree Commission is partnering with Artful Treasures to hold a wildflower seed ball craft event for the kids (and adults too, it’s fun for everyone!).
