THE RED, WHITE & BLUE DINNER IS BACK ON!

We are pleased to announce that the Red, White & Blue Dinner, which had been postponed last month, is scheduled for Sunday, July 19 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm! We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our community. Once again, the event has reached maximum capacity, and we can’t wait to gather together to celebrate Langhorne Borough’s 150th Anniversary.

To leave time for setup and cleanup, Maple Avenue from Bellevue to Hill Avenues will be closed from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on the 19th, with no parking or thru traffic allowed. All residents on this stretch of Maple Avenue should make parking arrangements ahead of time for the hours of the street closure.

This is an outdoor community dinner, which means Mother Nature ultimately has the final say. Current forecasts show the possibility of rain on July 19. While we’re hopeful for beautiful weather, we want to be transparent that a decision regarding the event will need to be made later this week. Because tables, chairs, linens, and other event logistics must be finalized several days in advance, we have to make a decision before Sunday.

Many of you may remember that our 150th Anniversary Kickoff Event in March was also at the mercy of the weather. While it ultimately took three attempts before we were able to celebrate together, the celebration made the wait well worth it. We’re hopeful the Red, White & Blue Community Dinner will only need this second attempt, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility as we work to make the best decision for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

If a postponement becomes necessary, our rain date is Sunday, August 23.

Thank you for your continued enthusiasm, understanding, and support. We know how much everyone is looking forward to this special evening—and trust us, we are too.

Rain or shine, one thing is certain—we can’t wait to celebrate with you. 🇺🇸
