On August 21, 2026, the bids for the West Maple Avenue & Green Street Crosswalk Project opened on the PennBID Electronic Bid Management System. Bids will be received for this project until September 17, 2026 at 11:00AM (Prevailing Time). The project involves traffic and pedestrian safety improvements at the intersection of West Maple Avenue (aka Route 213) and Green Street. These improvements include the installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) at all four corners of the intersection, stormwater inlet modifications, installation of concrete ADA curb ramps, curb, cheek wall, and sidewalk, tree removal, sign installation and road marking, erosion and sediment control, site restoration, and traffic maintenance and protection.
